Attorney Serena Minott is a co-founder and managing partner at the law firm Minott Gore, P.A., a boutique law practice offering first-rate legal representation to companies and entrepreneurs in the areas of transactional business law and intellectual property protection, specifically trademark law.  In 2008, the attorneys at Minott Gore launched FlatFeeTrademark.com, an e-commerce portal offering affordable, flat fee trademark registration services by licensed, experienced attorneys.   Serena's intellectual property practice includes U.S. and international trademark clearance searches, U.S. and international trademark registration, Florida state trademarks, and trademark enforcement actions. Serena also serves entrepreneurs and small business owners in transactional corporate matters and start-up advising, from profit and non-profit corporate formations to corporate governance agreements, third-party agreements and intellectual property licensing arrangements.   Serena and her law firm have been featured in the New York Times, Entrepreneur Magazine and the American Bar Association (ABA) Perspectives Magazine. She speaks on a number of topics relating to small business and entrepreneurship, from the legal aspects of business formation and intellectual property protection, to her experience as a seasoned entrepreneur in the fields of law and fashion.   Besides her professional endeavors, Serena is actively involved in several civic organizations. Serena serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Miami-Dade County and is on the Advisory Board of Femfessionals Inc. She also mentors young women through Girl Power, a Miami-based non-profit organization.   Serena is a graduate of the University of Florida and earned her Juris Doctorate at the George Washington University National Law Center.
